My Client is a very well-known International Fashion Brand now looking for a Ladieswear Garment Technologist that has previous experience in a Production Environment. This role will be based in their Manchester office and you will be responsible for the managing and sealing of all garments/accessories across Ladieswear including Knitwear, Jersey and Woven products.
You must have previous experience in a similar role and capable of working effectively both as part of a team and individually in a fast paced environment.
Garment Technologist - Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Production Environment
- Organized
- Have a knowledge of knit/ jersey and woven products
- Knowledge of quality procedures, including testing procedures
- Having a proactive attitude and fast thinking
- Be able to work with a team and alone.
- Good computer skills.
Garment Technologist - Technical Sealing
- Manage / Sealing of all garments/accessories in Ladieswear Knitwear/Jersey/Woven areas
- Evaluate, approve and give advice on test reports.
- Effectively communicate with factories and offshore production offices on sealing and production issues.
- Work with Design and Production teams on fitting and reviewing products from proto stage through to bulk production.
- Product development; develop blocks to support design team with specs for new styles
