I am partnering with a well-known brand who are globally recognised within the Sport and Lifestyle Apparel world!
They are looking to appoint a new Junior Product Developer into their Watford based offices. You will work across all their apparel division, where you will help to support Design with launching new styles with factories and guiding them through the sampling process.
Junior Product Developer- The Role
- Work closely with the Product Manager with the development and production of the brand.
- Create and maintain sampling and production trackers/line lists for Inline and SMU collections.
- Ensure brand comply is complete and uploaded.
- Chase Proto, SMS, PP and TOP samples and lab dips, strike off and fabric submissions from factories.
- Create shipping reports and communicate with factories on the progress of production, update all relevant information on the trackers and ensure all teams know of any issues.
- Measure samples and prepare for fitting.
- Colour/fabric check samples and send comments and approvals to the factories.
- Attend fit sessions and update workbooks accordingly. Communicate the comments to the relevant suppliers.
- Review lab dips and strike offs and send comments to the relevant suppliers through development and production.
- Work to critical path deadlines, through development and production and ensure that all deadlines are respected and strictly adhered to.
- Attend cross functional meetings with design, sales, and product throughout the season.
Junior Product Developer- Footwear - The Person
- A natural ability to multi-task with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Strong detail orientation with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel and ability to deal with multiple data – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Outstanding communication and follow-up skills.
- Eagerness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, driven by teamwork and collaborative innovation.
- Self-starter and solution-oriented and able to manage own workload.
