Doug Jameson

Managing Director

A seasoned recruiter with a proven track record of leading and mentoring successful teams of recruitment consultants. Doug is a  genuine people-person with a calm manner and clear strategic thinker, coupled with a wicked sense of humour. The breadth of his recruitment experience is a major asset to People Marketing.



Clare Turner

Account Director

A highly skilled and successful recruiter, Clare has been with People Marketing since 2002. A Designer by trade, she has worked across merchandising, product development, marketing, design and new business development. She has excellent and varied industry knowledge, having worked for suppliers and brands, as well as a leading corporatewear firm. In addition to working on the domestic market, Clare now heads our International division. She works at a furious pace and multi-tasks to an astonishing degree, yet still manages to council and mentor her candidates and clients.

Likes: Serious addiction to crafting. Has moved from baking to card making and anything else that grabs her attention!

Fact: Has swum with dolphins.


Holly Bishop

Fashion Recruitment Consultant

As a graduate of Fashion Marketing & Communication, Holly worked firstly in retail ops for Dorothy Perkins, then as a Product Developer for the luxury brand Brora. This experience strengthened Holly’s knowledge of the industry and has enabled Holly to get to the heart of a Business’ needs and find the best candidates in the marketplace for her clients. She has a strong, honest work ethic and always strives to go the ‘extra mile’ to satisfy all parties involved in the recruitment process. Despite her self-effacing ways Holly is a very effective recruiter and as a result has developed a very loyal client base.

Aimee Ridler

Fashion Recruitment Consultant - Currently on Maternity Leave

Aimee is from a very successful Retail Management background and has worked for some well-known retailers such as French Connection, La Senza and Internationale. Having studied for a Design degree, fashion recruitment combines two of her favourite things; fashion and people.  She is passionate about the industry and loves the challenge of matching the perfect candidate to her ever growing list of clients. Aimee is driven and compassionate and has been known to receive gifts of gratitude from grateful recipients of her knowledge and expertise.

Kathryn Easdale

Fashion Recruitment Consultant

With over 11 years experience as a Designer, Kathryn is our design guru. Her background has covered multi-product design, working for both, suppliers and retailers. Kathryn learnt the trade in her first role as a Ladies Outerwear Designer for Visage and more recently could be found designing Mens shirts for C&A in Belgium. She considers herself a weave specialist and is happy to offer her expertise to clients and candidates.

Melanie Coote

Fashion Recruitment Consultant

Melanie has a wealth of experience within the Fashion Industry across a range of products and a variety of functions. After graduating with a degree in ‘Fashion Buying, Management and Retailing’ Melanie worked in Buying for a sportswear company for 3.5 years before moving into a Wholesale Merchandising role for a babywear supplier. Here she helped to manage and grow accounts such as Tesco and Next. She then joined the luxury label Burberry where she worked as a Global Sourcing Coordinator across a variety of products including Outerwear, Knitwear, Softs and Jersey, covering Production Management, Costing & Negotiation, RM Procurement, Product Testing and Compliance. She also worked in collaboration with the other cross functional departments such as Design, Product Development, Technical, Buying and Merchandising and Corporate Responsibility. This has given her a thorough understanding of the supply chain and its roles.

The breadth of her experience within the industry has proven invaluable when assisting clients with their recruitment. She identifies talented candidates, understands the client’s requirements and finds the best fit for their business. Melanie is the go-to person when looking for the perfect candidate. Melanie is determined, approachable and her can-do attitude is infectious.

Emily Glover

Fashion Recruitment Consultant

With a genuine love of fashion Emily started her career working for Kurt Geiger as a Sales Assistant and then progressed to Supervisor level in store. After moving into Sales and then Recruitment Emily has a wealth of knowledge with big name companies across a range of sectors and has received some of the best in-industry training.

By moving to People Marketing Emily has been able to combined her love of fashion with her knowledge and expertise in the Recruitment industry.

Desiree Sierra-Cuesta

Fashion Recruitment Resourcer 

A super-efficient Resourcer, she works closely with Clare our Director of Recruitment, on both UK and International recruitment. Having attained a psychology degree, Desiree started her career in Barcelona, where she gained a wealth of experience in the recruitment industry. One of her key strengths is her ability to identify the right candidate for every position.In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit and meeting with her friends for a nice meal.

"I really appreciate your help throughout the recruitment process. Desi you are certainly one of the best recruiters I have worked with"

Likes: The TV show, British Bake Off and would love to be a contestant.

Dislikes: Rainy days.

Fact: She has a Yorkshire Terrier called Pumba.


Elaine Mulvihill

Director of Marketing and Operations

Elaine started in the industry as a graduate trainee at Courtaulds and then worked across the business in a variety of commercial roles within branded hosiery, nightwear, maternity and childrenswear. She then worked on new business development for a leading corporatewear supplier, bringing in several multi-million pound contracts before moving to People Marketing in 2005. Elaine now works on the support functions, and her responsibilities include IT and Finance.

Likes: Travel and experiencing new cultures.

Dislikes: Negative people.

Fact: Trekked to see the mountain gorillas in Uganda.


Nicolette Poyzer

Business Support Team

Nicolette our Senior Business Support Coordinator comes from a Wholesale Account Manager background, working with luxury brands. A self-confessed paperwork junky, Nicolette makes sure the office runs smoothly and our consultants have everything they need to ensure the highest level of service. In what spare time she has (with two small children, hardly any), Nicolette enjoys running, fitness training and can often be found helping bolster the profits of various coffee establishments.

Likes: Espresso, Shoes, bags, running and a nice Merlot.

Dislikes: Clutter and reality TV.

Fact: Has completed two half marathons, numerous 10k's and completed 'The Suffering' one of the UK's toughest obstacle courses!


Grace Mitchell

Business Support Team

Grace started her career in retail, working for Jaeger in Nottingham within both Mens and Womenswear.  She studied Psychology at James Cook University in Australia and comes from a Career Advisor/Guidance Counsellor background.  Along with Nicolette she makes sure the office runs smoothly and can often be heard giving advice to fresh graduates.

Likes: Travelling, seeing new places and experiencing new things.

Dislikes: Heights.

Fact: Has moved back and forth between England and Australia 4 times. 


Liz Gilder


Liz, a former HR Director, founded People Marketing in 1989 and under her direction and vision has expanded it into the business it is today. Her knowledge of HR and her industry experience has proved invaluable to clients and candidates over the years. Her career has included working for Marks & Spencer, and for the hosiery brand Elbeo, before taking the plunge to start her own business.
