I am partnering with a growing Premium Womenswear brand, who continue to go from strength to strength.

 

They are looking to appoint an additional head into their Buying team, due to phenomenal growth. They are looking for a Senior Buyer to support the department across strategic planning, collection building, scoping out new opportunities for the brand, and continuing to drive their Ecommerce, Retail, Wholesale and Concessions business.

 

You will be working with either a Luxury/Premium/ Premium High Street brand or Retailer at Senior Buyer level.

 

Senior Buyer: The Role

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to create a seasonal vision and strategy for the brand, ensuring a suitable product offering and key strategies are in place.
  • Develop and oversee the product pricing structure for the brand, implementing a seasonal strategy that balances luxury quality with commercial viability.
  • Build and refine collections across the various categories, ensuring they meet both customer and brand expectations, while driving the brand’s global positioning in the market.
  • Identify and introduce new product areas and opportunities in line with global luxury fashion trends, ensuring the brand remains competitive and innovative.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, delegating tasks where required

 

 

Senior Buyer: The Person

  • You will already be operating at Buyer/ Senior Buyer level, within the luxury or premium womenswear sector.
  • A strong understanding of luxury product standards
  • A strong understanding of the premium/luxury global market and trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with an eye for high-end design and aesthetics
  • Strong commercial acumen and an ability to think strategically
  • Exceptional knowledge of all fabrications, raw materials, product categories and garment construction
  • Experience working across international markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business judgement
