Description

We’re recruiting for an self-motivated field/area Sales Manager with a knowledge of knitwear for a premium heritage knitwear brand.  

As Sales Manager and brand ambassador you will grow and maintain sales with existing accounts, and seek/prospect for sales with stockists, identifying new opportunities for growth.   

This role will cover the Midlands to the North including Scotland and Ireland.

The brand already has representation in 600 stores across 26 countries and has recently received The Kings Award for Enterprise.  This is the first of a number of appointments looking to expand the Team for growth!.   

Sales Manager - Knitwear - The Role

  • Increase sales, target new business and grow accounts through excellent customer relationships.
  • Prospect/seek and develop new customers, and rebuild relationships with lapsed stockists.
  • Responsible for achieving set sales turnover targets, contributing to the annual sales strategy and forecasting.
  • Research and understand the marketplace to establish leads; and to work with design to ensure the products remain fresh, on brand and relevant.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, customer service and marketing to support all aspects of the sales communications across the year, and assets for customers
  • Represent and promote the brand at Trade Show and other events.
  • Provide technical support to existing and on-boarding customers.
  • Work with the sales teams to manage territory and sales targets.

Sales Manager - Knitwear - The Person 

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Field Sales/ Sales Representative or similar with knitwear experience.
  • Self-driven and ability to work both autonomously and within a wider team.
  • Ability to make decisions with the needs of the business and available resources in mind.
  • Able to communicate with all stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of business both internally and externally through all channels.
  • Highly organised with good time management Numerate, and a confident proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
  • UK Driving license
  • Permanent Right To Work in the UK
