Description

They are currently looking for an Admin assistant to join their team based in Manchester. You will play an important role within the department, where you will support the team with Merchandising and Order Management, Logistics Co-Ordination, Inventory Management and other day to day general duties.

This role would suit a Graduate who is looking to pursue a career in the Fashion Industry.

Admin Assistant Key Responsibilities:    

Merchandising and Order Management

  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) and sales orders (SOs).    
  • Track shipments and provide updates to customers.     
  • Assist Sales Representative by ensuring critical paths are met for product launches and deliveries.       
  • Ensure samples are sent to customers and follow up on approvals.    
  •  Sample management for wholesale         
  • Providing updates on product availability, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.      

Logistics and Warehouse Coordination  

  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to monitor the progress of picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders.             
  • Generate invoice and packing list for deliveries when required.              
  • Write and oversee job sheets for product reworks, ensuring clear instructions are followed. 
  • Book customer deliveries, arrange transport and track shipments.      
  • Assist with stock takes and coordinate stock movement in peak seasons.           

Finance and Inventory Management        

  • Issue customer invoices and action proforma payments.           
  • Raise and process credit requests in collaboration with the warehouse and finance teams.            
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands and create stock sheets.              
  •  Process and approve credit requests and manage shortages.               
  • Update shipment reports with import dates and collaborate with freight forwarders for timely deliveries.      
  •  Ensure stock receipts into business systems.    

Ad Hoc Responsibilities      

  • Maintain sample storage and Assist in showroom dressing.      
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various business initiatives.
