Exciting new opportunity recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser to work with an international portfolio of brands, covering forecasting, production order management, stock management and sales analysis.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with strong communication and Excel skills.
Assistant Merchandiser – The Job Outline
- Compile weekly and monthly reports and highlight the key findings
- Review stock availability and provide accurate re-stock dates to the wider business
- Raise replenishment orders and help to ensure efficient movement of stock between Distribution Centres
- Monitor key Customer Orders to ensure on time and in full deliveries
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Purchase orders in line with agreed deadlines Issue weekly shipment mode instructions to factories
- Amend Purchase orders to align to changes in sales patterns as required
- Review factory plans and work with Merchandisers to prioritise production
- Provide administrative support for the department as required
Assistant Merchandiser – The Person Specification
- Previous experience within a similar role, wholesale, production or retail merchandising.
- Capability to work independently and to work with others within immediate team and the wider business.
- Flexible with the ability to prioritize workloads as necessary.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent MS office and Excel skills is essential.
- Analytical and commercially aware, you will be able to collate and present.
