Description

We are recruiting for similar experience within a Sales Co-ordinator or supplier Merchandiser role to join a busy, established apparel supplier.   You will need to be familar with raising purchase orders and managing a critical path process.

As Account Co-ordinator you will be working with Sales Managers, an offshore office, 3rd party providers, retail buyers and merchandisers. Your role will be to ensure that all aspects of the order from raising the garment purchase order through to delivery is correct and running on time. 

Account Co-ordinator – The Job Outline

  • Raise garment purchase orders from details given by sales managers
  • Issue packaging and presentation detail sheet to offshore team
  • Assist offshore team with any accessory / packaging queries
  • Liaise with offshore team, Sales managers and retailers regarding order progress to ensure ship dates and delivery dates are met
  • Review critical path dates with internal teams and customers via emails and Teams meetings
  • Follow orders from shipping to arrival at UK warehouse/distribution
  • Organise delivery into customer – following individual customer requirements
  • Maximise information exchange with customers to generate repeat orders and enhance business opportunities.
  • Attend occasional meetings with the Retailers

Account Co-ordinator – Skills & Experience

  • Ideal applicant will have experience from within a similar supplier merchandising, or sales administration role (min. 2-3 years).  
  • You must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A knowledge of licensing would be of interest, training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with clarity and respect at all levels within an organisation.
  • A ‘can do’ flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work efficiently as an individual and also as part of team
  • Highly organised - to multi project manage tasks, and to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
  • Applicants must have access to own vehicle, as local transport links are limited.
