Job Description

My client is one of the market leaders in Bridal footwear. Today the brand has evolved massively to become a special occasion collection now sold to independent retailers and department stores in the UK and global. The brand has developed collections across occasion wear, on-trend party heels to comfort evening footwear. They are looking to add a successful Sales Manager to their team to develop and build their wholesale accounts. The role is responsible for the long term management & strategic revenue growth of the brand.

Sales Manager – The role

  • Support Sales Director to achieve sales budget
  • Communicate with key accounts and agents daily
  • Maintain & build lasting relationships with key accounts through effective interpersonal skills
  • Drive the business forward opening quality new doors, identify areas of growth & development
  • Upgrade existing accounts with greater brand visibility
  • Attend trade shows
  • Deliver on commercial opportunities with positive results and monitor incentives
  • Visit accounts regularly to ensure the brand is adhered to.
  • Be a brand ambassador at every level, both in communication and professionalism
  • Commercial awareness of market conditions
  • Implement and drive annual marketing plan
  • Assist the director in developing appropriate sales and business development strategies
  • To maximize sales opportunities within the accounts and to make customers aware of any changes in the product line
  • To work closely with strategic partners to offer additional solutions to the accounts, and further strengthen our offering and securing our position as the industry leader
  • To produce accurate weekly sales forecasts and monthly product forecasts for each of the accounts

Sales Manager – The candidate

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in footwear wholesale
  • Established relationships with key multiples essential
  • Previous experience working in a wholesale sales role, selling to multi door retailers and / or Key Accounts
  • Ability to travel both in the UK and Internationally as required
