Job Description

Are you a target driven Sales Manager looking to work for an industry leader in the Childrenswear sports apparel market? Working with all of the major sports leagues and leading colleges in North America you will be widening the product territory to the UK and Ireland. With high targets and growth plans in place for the year ahead, my client needs someone who is KPI driven as well as being a self- starter. The ideal candidate must have experience of working with the High Street and come armed with key contacts- ideally within the Childrenswear sector however this is not essential.

Sales Manager UK & Ireland – The Role

  • Responsible for developing existing customer relationships, growing the business and looking for new sales opportunities
  • You will be travelling around the UK & Ireland on a regular basis seeing customers and prospecting new clients
  • Managing your own diary and making any necessary travel arrangements
  • To hold product presentations and trainings to retailers, working with them on in-line and SMU collections
  • Work closely with the Managing Director on sales and marketing plans
  • Work with the Operations Director to ensure the highest service level and order fulfilment rate (forecasting, pre orders, use of digital ordering tools) in cooperation with customer service, planning and credit department

Sales Manager UK & Ireland– The Candidate

  • Ideal candidate will have experience in apparel/sportswear or accessories with 5-6 years minimum experience in sales for the UK & Ireland market
  • Experience in the children’s wear sector is advantageous
  • Role will suit an existing Commercial Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager with a proven track record
  • To deliver rewarding business and achieving sales targets
  • You must have the hunger and drive to build business
  • Highly motivated, organised, attentive to detail with excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Must be fully fluent in English
  • Must have good communication skills, flexible and adaptable
