Job Description

My client are looking to bring in an experienced Sales Manager to develop andl be responsible for driving sales for both brands into new markets in the UK and overseas, particularly with ‘National’ sales opportunities, so will need to be able to work on their own initiative and in a similar role previously.

The brand has recently undergone a change in direction towards high end fashion and one of the key functions of this role will be taking the brand to those shops and companies who stock similar high-end brands.

The ideal candidate must have a strategic ‘can do’ philosophy and be a proactive, organised individual with a proven track record with brands, ideally in fashion.

Sales Manager – The role

  • Managing the internal sales team
  • Procuring and securing national accounts
  • Attainment of new high-end accounts 
  • Researching and targeting potential areas for new business and development opportunities
  • Working closely with the Directors to manage and review budget expenditure for marketing campaigns
  • Analysing and evaluating campaign activity and results to ensure continual improvement in sales
  • Monthly reporting to the Directors
  • Managing the distribution of sales and marketing material and literature and POS
  • Being an ambassador for both brands, attending seasonal sales meetings and trade shows

Sales Manager – The person

  • Proven sales background in branded fashion  
  • Strong commercial acumen, results driven, professional
  • A genuine passion and energy for fashion is essential
  • Logical analytical skills and experienced negotiator
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire performance
  • Articulate and effective in developing rapport and building strong relationships 
  • Highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed
