Job Description

This is a rare and exciting opportunity with a globally recognised European denim brand to manage the merchandising of all products on its webstore, which is live in 12 European countries. In addition to uploading and merchandising the product across all categories you will also be accountable for increasing traffic to the site, so a strong knowledge of google analytics is essential.

The role also includes analysing product performance, suggesting and executing optimization tactics, and ensuring that key stories are communicated across all websites. Your key objectives are to drive conversion & sales, improve product sell through and deliver the ultimate online consumer shopping experience. 

Online / E-Commerce Merchandiser – The Role:

  • You will manage the product offer and merchandising within all categories across the brands 12 European sites considering targets, sales performance indicators and web marketing activities.
  • Translate the brand & retail calendar into an online trading calendar for all relevant markets; create briefings for digital marketing and follow-up execution.
  • Work closely with digital marketing, coordinating digital store catalogue creation.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities in areas like product photography & copy, key product information such as sizing and colour variants, etc.
  • Analyze product, category and banner performance and suggest improvements in order to ultimately drive online conversion and sales.
  • Analyze the impact of promotional activities and define opportunities for future strategies.
  • Provide input to Buying and Merchandising department for stock management activities

including order stock replenishment and cancellations.

Online / E-Commerce Merchandiser – The Candidate:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar E-commerce role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills essential
  • Must be fully fluent in English. Other languages will be beneficial, especially German.
  • Must have strong analytical skills, inclination for the Internet and its communication channels.
  • Experience with Magento, Wordpress and Google Analytics is an asset.
  • Must be willing and able to relocate to Belgium where this role is located.
