National Sales Manager – Corporatewear – The Job Opportunity

  • To identify and generate quality leads and new business potential for knitwear and knitted apparel
  • To build client relationships, attend meetings and presentations; negotiate prices and offer embroidery service
  • Act as primary contact for all corporatewear/workwear clients; between them and all internal departments
  • To agreed sales targets in line with business objectives
  • To work with offshore Team and supplier factories to review products and utilise competitive advantage, commercial viability and sample development
  • Ensure that all information/data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM system and reporting
  • To continuously update and implement commercial and technical product knowledge to promote innovation and company USP, develop marketing collateral.
  • To regularly communicate competitor market intelligence
  • Attend trade shows/events and exhibitions

National Sales Manager – Corporatewear - The Person Specification

  • Proven track record in New Business Development, B2B sales or Sales Management (previous experience in the Corporate/Workwear market an advantage). 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to change
  • Effective communicator and team player able to work well with people at all levels
  • Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage workload and priorities autonomously
  • Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative
  • Confident communicator, able to present to senior stakeholders and customers
  • Effective and efficient time management and organisational skills

Narional Sales Manager – The Company

Our client is based in Greater Manchester; occasional monthly trips to the office will be required. 

This position will be home based, or can be based from the office, with travel nationally to prospect clients and attend customer meetings.
