An exciting new opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager who is looking to have a true impact in their position. Managing the transition from a print led marketing approach to a digital marketing approach including email marketing and social media.

Marketing Manager – The Job Role

  • As Marketing Manager you will drive, create and develop Marketing Strategies and plans to support the growth plans for on & offline sales.
  • You will need to be commercially driven.  To lead the digital transformation in line with market trends and customer needs.
  • To take ownership of brand and working with the Design Team and Category Managers to drive innovation in product development through internal resources and via external agencies.
  • Take the lead on the development of the long- term marketing strategy to include a compelling and consistent brand/company positioning.
  • Monitor and review competitor and market activity. Identify areas of possible development.
  • Responsible for ensuring all aspects of print production and direct mail are coordinated, briefing through to final stage and in place to achieve mailing dates.
  • Take the lead on Photography and Videography shoots.
  • Maintain strong relationships with third party suppliers such as creative and PR, POS and exhibition organisation and management
  • To manage the day-to-day operations of the department ensuring smooth running and effective methods and processes are in place.
  • To be considered you will need online marketing experience, and a knowledge of the fashion/apparel sector would be advantageous.

 

Marketing Manager – The Person Specification

  • Proven experience at Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing or similar position (min. 4 years).   Previous online/digital marketing experience is essential.
  • Experience within a B2B marketing environment - advantageous. 
  • Budget management.  Ability to project manage multiple projects ad hoc and integrated campaigns through to completion.
  • Organised, methodical and a good process/people balance
  • Logical thinker who is able to solve problems and keep a cool head
  • Passionate and driven
  • Prepared to make decisions, pragmatic and rational with a solutions focus
  • Projects a self-assured image
  • Persuasive and influential
  • Change orientated, responsive, open minded and innovative
  • Strong team player, conscientious, trustworthy and reliable  
  • Hands on management style
