Job Description

My client is a leading men's fashion design company with two successful in house brands. They are currently looking for an E-commerce Manager to join their small team. This is a new position to the team and it's an excellent opportunity to join a busy, ambitious and forward thinking team. The role is varied and you will be responsible for managing the whole day to day website content management, social media and digital marketing function so you will need to be able to work on your own initiative. 

Digital Marketing Manager - The role

  • Day-to-day maintenance of the company website and posting of social media
  • Social media management and managing digital campaigns
  • Developing and driving digital campaigns to deliver optimum sales results
  • Analysing the performance of digital channels
  • Owning the Ecommerce sales strategy to drive traffic and sales, and improving customer experience
  • Development and input in the marketing strategy and calendar
  • Managing the growth of the Ecommerce platform.
  • Managing the uploading all new season product information and data, photography and editorial.
  • Plan and control the Ecommerce budget for marketing, technical, creative, etc.
  • Liaising with external web agencies where required

Digital Marketing Manager - The candidate

The idea candidate must have a strong technical background and be a creative, accurate, organised and flexible individual who can proactively ensure we are maximising our brands identity and who can prioritise their own workload whilst working in a fast-paced environment. Although the individual will work closely with the brands’ directors, the role will require someone that is confident and able to both follow direction and also show initiative.

  • Previous experience in a digital marketing and Ecommerce lead role in a fast-paced retail fashion environment, ideally  with high end brands
  • Able to implement and optimise both creative and media to deliver efficient response across all digital channels and platforms
  • Strong Technical skills including HTML, CSS, PHP and Adobe are desirable
  • Able to analyse campaign performance and take necessary action to continually improve performance
  • Proven track record of driving sales and customer acquisition and retention
  • Web design, management and development experience
  • Thorough knowledge of digital analytics with extensive experience of use in practice
  • Confident working with programmers and designers
  • Knowledge of building digital acquisition and retention schemes
  • Highly commercial with an analytical mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
