This is a great opportunity for an experienced, trend-led multi product Womenswear Designer to be part of a growing brand in Manchester. You will work closely with the Head of Buying to develop strong cohesive collections.
Womenswear Designer (Brand) - The Role
- Researching and identifying future womenswear trends and catwalk influences
- Designing trend-led, multi product fashion collections for the brand – products range across mainly across dresses, playsuits, jumpsuits, tops, skirts and trousers
- Compiling comparative shop reports
- Face to face meetings, working closely with the Head of Buying
- Garment fitting, fabric and trim sourcing
- You will be working in a busy, fast paced environment
- Completing detailed tech packs
Womenswear Designer (Brand) - The Candidate
- Ideal candidate will have a design related Degree
- A good eye for fashion and trends
- You will be a well organised, confident communicator
- Able to manage priorities
- Proficient on Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, adaptable to change
- Have experience of working closely with overseas factories
- You must also be an effective communicator & team player
